Gorno-Altai, formally The Democratic Republic of Gorno-Altai (Romanian:Republica Democrata Gorno-Altai) is a left-wing Council Repblic with more democratic views. The country is the successor of the People's Democratic Republic of Gorno-Altai. The country is situated between Fulanistan in the west and Cakistan in the south. The country is governed from the Victoria Palace in Altaisk.
Gorno-Altai has a weak economy with $12,000 GDP per Capita. The government allocates 30% of its buget to Law & Order, 21% on Education and 16%on Healthcare.The education sistem is in a continue reformation since 1990.
The country is a full member of the Revolutionary Defence Treaty.
The region in which the people of Altai live is situated between the coast and the Altai Mountains. The people found to live in those mountains were called Altaians.
In old Altaian, "Gorno" means country. In modern Altaian, "Gorno" means roughly republic. Even if Altaian is hardly found in modern speech the people who live today within the Altai mountain chain use this therm "Gorno" to show their heritage to the foreign people.

The country is ruled from Victoria Palace in Altaisk. The ruler of the country is the Premier, a man who is chosen for life by the prefects from the nominees of the Secretariats. The premier represents the country at various meetings and is often the absolute ruler of the country,taking the Secretariats tasks. The current Premier, Andrei Denikin was elected Premier for life by the Prefectures in 2009 when The Altaic Revolution deposed the old Premier, Alexander Vasilievich.
The Governmenment is ruled by the President who is also the Prim-Secretary of the Party. The government is formed by 10 Secretariats:

-Secretary of Transport: Gheorge Dumitrescu
-Secretary of External Affairs: Mihail Pavlichenko
-Secretary of Education and Tourism: Rosa Shanina

-Secretary of Industry and Agriculture: Gabriel Nelu
-Secretary of Public Health: Nestor Kiseleff
-Secretary of Comunications: Petre Ciorbea
The Prim-Secretary of the country is chosen by the Premier of the country. Rest of the government is made by the prefects chosen by the Prim-Secretary.
The Democratic Republic of Gorno-Altai is composed by 40 prefectures. The people elect the prefects every 5 years in democratic elections. The party chooses 3 nominees for every prefecture and the people elect one of them. When the old premier dies, the prefects make a council to elect the next Premier for life.
