The Trans-Oceanic Steam Navigation Company or White Star Line Livpul Packets, more commonly known as the White Star Line, is a prominent Anglysh shipping company, known today for its luxurious passenger liners such as the RMS Titanic and the RMS Anglica as well as its equally luxurious cruiseships of today. In 1934 the line merged with its chief rival, Cunard Line, then operating as a subsidiary of Cunard & Co. The term White Star Service describes the impeccable level of customer care expected of when sailing aboard a White Star Liner.
